Sales Advice 

If you have ordered a product online without pre-sales advice you have therefore made a judgement that the product is suitable for your requirement. Our website provides as much information as possible to help you make a sensible buying decision. Based upon the information provided we will not be responsible for the suitability issues of any product, including performance, sound levels, colour, dimensions etc

 

Pre-sales advice is available via telephone, email or fax. We will do our very best to advise you on the correct product for your particular application based upon the information you provide. You must be acknowledged that we can not always provide the definitive solution to certain situations and applications as there are certain variables that we can not fully appreciate. It will be your decision based upon our advice and information whether verbal or written to decide if the product is suitable for your particular use

 

Ordering 

You may order products displayed on this web site by telephoning AirControl Systems or by faxing or posting a purchase order. If you place your order via fax, telephone or mail we will confirm you order via e-mail or post within 2 working days.

 

If AirControl Systems is unable to supply a particular item which you have ordered or if the correct price for an item is different from the price on your order, we will notify you as soon as it can after receiving your order. If this happens, you may cancel your order and refund you any money which you have paid.

 

You can pay by any Visa or MasterCard credit card or by Switch, Solo or Delta debit card. You may also pay by cheque or money order if you wish.

 

AirControl Systems will debit money from your account within one working day after it has received your order. 

AirControl Systems cannot guarantee delivery times but it aims to deliver within the advised specified when placing your order. If the goods are not delivered within the specified delivery time then please contact us by telephone or e-mail.

 

Delivery

Delivery is normally included on advertised products within mainland UK unless otherwise stated.

 

Please Note:  Additional shipping costs may apply to the Highlands & Islands and across water. In addition delivery times may be 2/3 days depending on destination. Please contact us on 01225 752494 for information regarding delivery costs to these areas.

 

When you place your order you must notify AirControl Systems of any special delivery instructions that are required. 

Please ensure that adequate facilities are available at the place of delivery in order that the delivery driver can carry out prompt and safe unloading.

 

Deliveries are made by a driver only and therefore his responsibility as solely to offload at ground level. Prior to receiving your goods you will be notified of a delivery day. Standard delivery is normally any time during a normal working day. However we can provide a timed delivery at additional cost and this can be advised at the time of purchase.

 

Certain deliveries are made directly by our distributors; this information will be supplied to you at the time of ordering along with the relevant contact details.

 

On Receipt of Item(s)

On receipt please inspect the goods carefully for damage as AirControl Systems is unable to accept responsibility for damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of products unless the customer advises AirControl Systems of such within three working days from the date of delivery. You now have 7 working days to examine the item(s) to ensure the item(s) are as you expected. Use of the item(s) can render the item(s) as second hand and therefore a charge may be made and deducted from the amount refunded.

 

Installation

AirControl Systems is not responsible for the installation of any product.

 

Availability of Goods

 

All orders are subject to product availability. If the product you have ordered is not available from stock, you will be contacted by e-mail or telephone and will have the option either to wait until the item is available or to cancel your order.

 

Returns

Returning items:

If you wish to return item(s) for whatever reason within 7 working days of delivery, you may do so providing the item(s) are unused and in their original packaging (not applicable to Business customers). It will be your responsibility to return any item(s) at your cost. It is advisable to ensure that the returned items are fully insured against loss or damage during transportation back to us.

 

Once the item(s) have been received at AirControl Systems they will be inspected to ensure the item(s) are fit for resale you will be credited in full including any original delivery charge. Please be aware that prior to returning the goods you must advise us in writing either by way of letter, electronic mail or fax. We reserve the right to charge for any damage or missing parts. Before returning any item you must also contact us by telephone on 01225 752494 for instructions on how to return the goods. We will not accepts returns if the packaging is marked or damaged (other than by the courier company). Where packaging has been sealed using clear tape then clear tape must be used to re-seal. The use of any other tape such as brown packaging tape, duct tape etc will render the goods as used and therefore second-hand and a deduction can be made from the amount we owe you.

 

Faulty Items

If an item is suspected as faulty within the first 28-day period from date of delivery we will pay for defective/damaged returns.  Please contact us by telephone, fax or email and we will arrange for the collection. Once the item(s) has been returned to us it will be examined. Should the returned item(s) prove to be without fault then a charge of £20 will be made along with the cost of collection and returning the item(s) to you. Your statutory rights are not affected.


Non UK Sales: The unit is covered by a warranty, but the unit would need to be returned to the UK at the buyers cost if a fault occurred.

 

Prices & Payment 

All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.

 

Unless otherwise stated the goods shall not become the property of the buyer until the purchase price of the goods has been paid in full.
 

All prices and products quoted are subject to alteration or withdrawal from time to time without notice.
 

All deliveries are to be made within the mainland UK only unless stated otherwise.

 

Guarantee and warranties

 

You must acknowledge that AirControl Systems are not the manufacturer of the Goods. We will however endeavour to transfer to you the benefit of any warranty or guarantee given by the manufacturer or supplier of the goods.

 

All Ebac home dehumidifiers are covered under a 2 year parts & labour warranty as indicated except the Ebac Amazon that has a 1 year warranty. Commercial dehumidifiers are covered under a 1 year warranty. Ebac or their service agents shall be responsible for honouring this warranty.

 

All Mitsubishi, Ruby-Dry, Daitsu, XDry, Meaco and EcoAir products are covered under a 1 year parts & labour warranty. The respective service agents shall be responsible for honouring this warranty. Beyond the initial 28 day period from purchase date the cost of returning certain item(s) to AirControl Systems with suspected faults must be paid for by you. Once the item(s) has been returned to us it will be examined. Should the returned item(s) prove to be without fault a minimum charge of £20 will be made along with the cost of collection and returning the item(s) to you. These charges will also apply if the item(s) are found to have a problem due to a lack of proper maintenance, servicing or neglect.  In the event that the returned item proves to be faulty we will repair or replace the item(s) and refund you the cost of returning the item(s) to us.

 

AirControl Systems reserves the right to inspect/test any item(s) that are reported and returned with a suspected fault in addition to any manufacturers warranty terms.

 

All warranties are valid within the UK mainland only.  For those customers purchasing outside mainland UK we will carry out repairs under warranty but carriage to and from AirControl Systems must be paid for by the customer. 


Liability

AirControl Systems shall not be liable to the Buyer for any loss or damage, howsoever caused, whether direct or indirect, consequential or otherwise, suffered by the Buyer or a third party.  

Important Information Regarding Maintenance.

Products such as Dehumidifiers do require a certain amount of attention from time to time. Please follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for cleaning or servicing. Filter cleaning is of major importance and our recommendation are that filters should be removed & cleaned once per month. Where the manufacture recommends filter replacement this should be done. Where filters can be washed out then please do this. Please pay particular attention to the Carbon filter on the Ruby Dry DH600 dehumidifier that can be removed and washed but should be replaced once per year. Failure to maintain the dehumidifier in a good condition can affect performance, cause premature component failure and importantly may invalidate your warranty.
