14 litre Secco Wall or Floor Mounted Dehumidifier
This slimline dehumidifier, available in 14 litre per day maximum water removal plus a 1kW heater can be stood on the floor or is easily installed onto a wall, providing permanent dehumidification to an area. This makes the unit ideal for damp areas like spas, jacuzzis, cellars and bathrooms as well as for drying clothes inside. The dehumidification and heater can be controlled individually.

The Secco Spa dehumidifier has the capacity to remove 14 litres of moisture every 24 hours and has a built-in 1kW heater to assist in the drying process. Warm air holds more moisture than cool air and so by heating the air the relative humidity becomes much lower.
This wall-mounted Secco Spa dehumidifier incorporates a digital display that allows you to set your desired humidity at the push of a button. It also incorporates a humidistat that will give you a readout of the current ambient humidity in the room.
Used under or next to a clothes horse to dry washing the dry laundry function increases the output of the unit to minimise the time required to dry wet clothes.
Installation is made simple with a paper stencil through which the holes are drilled. This allows the holes to be positioned perfectly. Once they are drilled the raw plugs are placed inside and two hooks screwed in to the raw plug upon which are hung the Secco dehumidifier.
The unit works by sucking humid air in with a fan which then travels through a cooled coil, causing the humidity to condense into water droplets. This condensation is collected in the 3.5 litre water tank.
On average it requires just 230W of power to operate and will perform in temperatures between 2 deg C - 35 deg C. When operating in cool conditions the unit will perform an automatic defrost cycle to defrost any ice that has formed on the coils. The coils on normal dehumidifiers, when left running, will be completely covered in ice decreasing their effectiveness.
The Secco Spa dehumidifier has an automatic shut off feature that will stop operation when the water reservoir is full. The warning light will turn on and an acoustic alarm will sound for a few seconds to indicate the bucket needs to be emptied giving you peace of mind. Alternatively the unit can be installed for continuous discharge.
With its very quiet operation and slim dimensions the unit will be very adaptable in tight applications, such as caravans/boats, motor homes and small flats.
The water that it produces is distilled, which can then be used with an iron to help extend its life - as no scale will be produced from this water. The air filters need to be cleaned monthly.
